Jewelry Television - Mozambique grape garnets
For the past two nights jtv has been telling people they are selling them mozambique grape garnets from mozambique. These garnets are superior to the grape garnets found in Tanzania.
If you look up the items they are showing on web their site you can read that the country of origin is Tanzania not mozambique . When I called the consumer help dept I was asked if it said that they were MOZAMBIQUE grape garnets ! So the host and the owner. Of the stones he repeatedly calls mozambique grape garnets is contradicting jtv's own definition..they not only say theses stones are from Tanzania but do not print anything but grape COLORED garnets.
They don't print the word mozambique anywhere just say it loud and clear and show the magazine cover that featured this beautiful stone saying there stones were the same stone from Mozambique. Obviously there is a discrepancy between what they are telling the public and what they are actually selling.
There are other purple garnets that are not as special as the recently discovered mozambique grape garnet. The price difference makes it very lucrative for jtv as the once again put one over on the public.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I just recently purchased this Grape garnet..../ and I noticed the EXACT same thing and am wondering, bc Jtv is not the old company it once was... I know my gems and I find its sad to lose the confidence I once had in their products!!!
